# New postdoctoral position on the AIAI project (IGE, Grenoble, France)

We are advertising a 2-year CNRS postdoctoral position at the [Institute of Geophysics and Environment (IGE)](https://www.ige-grenoble.fr/?lang=en), Grenoble France. The selected candidate will join the [CryoDyn team](https://www.ige-grenoble.fr/Members) at IGE and will work in collaboration with the [LOCEAN](https://www.locean.ipsl.fr/) and [LSCE](https://www.lsce.ipsl.fr/en/index.php) departments of [IPSL](https://www.ipsl.fr/en/home-en/).

The general mission is to improve the integration of ice sheets into Earth System Models through the use of a neural network emulator at the interface between an Antarctic ice sheet model ([Elmer/Ice](http://elmerice.elmerfem.org/)) and a global ocean model ([NEMO](https://www.nemo-ocean.eu/)). The selected candidate will contribute to the [ANR-AIAI project](https://anr-aiai.github.io/).
