# When should I use freshwater budget option (fwb)?

I want to run the model for a long time(about 50 years).  
The model was stuck with a high sea surface height. So, I would like to use the fwb=1 option for this, but in what situations is this option typically used? I was wondering if you typically use these options to perform models over long periods of time.
