The problem in v4.22 is with ice concentration in Antarctica. For similar settings in versions 4.04 and 4.22, after a month from statr.
For comparison –ice concentration on the same date from OISST v2. Tested for ORCA2_ICE_PISCES configurations. In version 5.0 there is a similar picture
