Is there any progress on the possibility to use nn_dttrc ?
The goal is to run the source and sinks of a TOP model only 1 (NEMO) timestep out of N, but the model crashes when trying to use it.
This is the same question as this topic from 2021 and nemo 4.0 : [v4.0.x] Using larger timestep with own tracer model (`nn_dttrc > 1`) leads to `lib_mpp` deadlock

The substepping functionnality in TOP is not existing anymore since NEMOv4.2.
It was no more working either in NEMOv3.6, especially when using variable vertical coordinate - vvl -
