Hi, I’m new in NEMO and try to run the storm surge in global domain using the ERA5 forcing, this data have in the description the scale_factor and add_offset. My question is, I want to know if the model use this descriptions before to solve the equations to simulate? or I need to obtain the real value of the data before running my simulation. many thx for your comments.

Usually the netcdf interface will take into account the add offset and scale factors, so there is nothing to do from your side.
